The Annual General Meeting for St. Albert Minor Football has been moved to
Thursday January 15th (7:00 pm to 8:30 pm) at Bellerose Composite High School, 49 Giroux Rd. Football continues to grow not only in St. Albert but within the Capital District Minor Football Association. The up coming season (2009) will be a water shed year for SAMFA with the opening of the new field in Riel Park. We encourage all interested parties to attend and participate in the upcoming year. Volunteer efforts are the back bone of the program and your involvment guarantees the success of the Association and football in St. Albert.
SAMFA Awards Night

Once again it is time for the
SAMFA Award's Night. As in the past, each team and individual player will be recognized and team MVP trophies will be handed out. Every player will receive something for their participation in the the 2009 season. It is a great way to end the season with all teams and players being recognized by their peers, coaches and parents. Details are below and we hope to see you
all there.
Date: Thursday, Nov. 13th
Time: 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm(players should be there by 7:10 so we can start on time and are to wear their game jeresys)
Location: Ardent Theatre - St. Albert (5 St. Anne Street)
Vikings Tier III Atom Champions

SAMFA congratulates the Vikings on their Tier III CDMFA Atom Championship with a 28 - 16 win over the Edmonton Mustangs.
Way to go Vikings !!!!!
This was a successfyul year for SAMFA with a number of teams making strong playoff runs. We congratulate all the players, coaches, parents, fans and volunteers for all their efforts in making this a successful 2008 season. We hope to see all returning players back for 2009 and welcome all new comers for another great SAMFA experience.

St. Albert Minor Football and St. Albert High Schools Football Association would like to thank all of those businesses and individuals that generously donated to our “Field of Dreams Fundraiser Dance and Silent Auction”. It was a tremendous success.
Special thanks goes out to The Kinsmen Club of St. Albert , Xebec Marketing Group Inc., and Mayor Nolan Crouse for their support.

It is now time for the Adults to RUMBLE at the
SAMFA Annual Fundraising Dance and Silent Auction. This will be a great way to get better acquainted with the other parents, coaches, and executive and guaranteed to give you the most bang for your entertainment buck in St. Albert.

This is an important fundraiser for St. Albert Football, with the upcoming completion of the new field. In order to make this fundraiser a success, we need your help as well as donations of silent auction items. We are asking that each team provide two volunteers to help in the set up and take down. We also ask that each team try and provide 3 prizes for the silent auction. These can be business donations or you can get a collection together for a prize or gift certificate. The dance is once again earlier this year, so we will need to start collecting those silent auction items over the summer months. Get your tickets early and ensure you get a chair at your team table.
